Ave Maria

Since this is my first post of 2011, I would like to start by wishing everybody a happy new year.  May all your dreams and wishes come true and if they don’t, I wish you can make the best of what life has given you. I have discovered during these 32 years that in life, the pleasure is not in the destination but in the journey – OK, I heard this on a movie, but never the less, this is true, so enjoy the ride!

I love the beginning of a new year. After all the celebration and great time spent with family and friends you can’t help but to look at your life and feel grateful for being surrounded by people who bless you with their presence in your life and share the ups and downs of your journey.   They are the ones that make your life complete and for them I can only wish but the best life has to offer and hope to be part of their journey too.

Since the beginning of the year is a spiritual an emotional time for me, there is no better song than “Ave Maria” to go with this post. I couldn’t find the right words to describe how meaningful this song is to me;  the only thing that comes to my mind is that this song touches my soul and inspires me.  This version is by Dolores O’Riordan (Lead singer of The Cranberries) and Pavarotti.

Happy New Year!
